ZipMed is available for routine diagnostic specimens — blood, urine, other routine clinical samples, and veterinary specimens — where the material is tendered sealed, labeled, and transport-ready by your facility. We carry it in a dedicated ZipMed specimen carrier, follow your documented handling and temperature instructions, and record timestamped pickup and delivery with proof of delivery.

Your facility prepares and tenders the material in appropriate sealed, labeled, transport-ready packaging. ZipMed is not a laboratory packaging service. Temperature-controlled transport is offered only where the required range and process are confirmed for that shipment. Category A infectious substances are not accepted.

The next available courier is assigned directly to your run. In some areas, pickup may be available in approximately 30 minutes depending on location and current capacity — dispatch confirms the actual pickup window when you book.

Independent, compounding, and provider pharmacies use ZipMed to move sealed, appropriately prepared medication packages — to facilities, to other sites, or to a patient address on the pharmacy's behalf. ZipMed contracts with the pharmacy or provider, not with patients.

Shipment eligibility is subject to qualification and applicable requirements. ZipMed does not advertise controlled-substance transport capability.
